Giles Corey Hartford Concert reviews
Concert great--seating and ticketing need work
Giles Corey was very much enjoyed by us. He gives an energetic performance even at 73. Outstanding are his band members, especially his son and the saxophonist. A few more songs would have been nice, but 1.5 hours is a good show. Most all his and CCR's well-known songs were performed. His voice is how I remember from the 70's. It was good to see diverse ages there. The people next to us had seen him 3 times. That's a good review in itself.
The seating at the Winstar Casino is not theater style on the floor level. A little elevation would help a lot. It's very hard to tell anything about the seats, even when I went back to find a photo of the concert area on the ticket site. There are no seat numbers or row letters, so I had to guess and finally called the event center for more information.
So, the 5 stars are for the concert--not the event center, seats, or ticketing.
